Major Highlights Of NAPS
- Legal compliance of Apprentices act 1961.
- Apprentice expenses can be paid from CSR Funds.
- Introduction of Option Trade (for non ITI/ITI candidates).
- Engagement of apprentices in a band of 2.5% to 15% of the total strength of including contractual employee(25% for Maharashtra).
- Government will reimburse part of expenses incurred in providing Basie Training wherever necessary and also part of Stipend paid to the Apprentices.
- Employers will not be required to cover Apprentices under Provident Fund and ESI scheme
- The OST time period could be 36 months
